Although this jumper features a 3.5mm jack, not all CB radios require the 3.5mm plug to be connected.  If your headset or intercom is not receiving sound from the CB radio, connect the 3.5mm plug to the external speaker port on the radio.  Otherwise, it can be left disconnected.
